MALVERN YOUTH CABINET - ABOUT MYC

HISTORY

The Malvern Youth Cabinet (MYC) was created in 2004 by the Malvern Family Resource Centre for the purpose of providing youth with a forum to meet, discuss and advocate for various community issues. In the past, the MYC planned and carried out many community events such as the Malvern Community Walk, organizing a community Food Drive, sending volunteers to a local food bank and assisting with the planning of the Annual Malvern Youth Forum.

VISION AND GOALS

"The purpose of Malvern Youth Cabinet is to bring youth together for the common cause of creating a positive image for Malvern by engaging in constructive activities within the community."
